Kenyan police on Tuesday morning shot and killed one person who – along with four others – had attempted a daring raid on a police station in capital Nairobi.
"One person from the five-man gang was gunned down," Kenyan police spokesman Masoud Mwinyi told The Anadolu Agency.
"Our officers managed to arrest one of the men," he added.
Mwinyi described the raid on the police station as the first of its kind in Nairobi.
"We are still carrying out investigations to ascertain what their goal was," he said.
