Pakistan's army killed 14 suspected Taliban members in fresh airstrikes in the country's restless North Waziristan tribal region on Saturday, officials said.
The army's media wing said several militant hideouts were destroyed in the remote Shawal Valley near the Afghan border.
More than 160 suspected militants have been killed in a fresh round of airstrikes following the death of Punjab province's Home Minister Shuja Khanzada in a suicide attack two weeks ago.
North Waziristan is one of Pakistan's seven semi-autonomous tribal regions and has been a battleground between the army and the Taliban since June 2014. - Lahor
