2 Killed, 5 Injured As Two Car Crash In Northern Turkey

At least two people were killed, while 5 others, three of them in critical condition, were injured as a result of traffic accident took place in Havza district of Samsun.

The accident occurred on Çayırözü location on Samsun –Vezirköprü Highway when an automobile with 05 DV 434 plate number driven by Nadir Arı, 46, which was driving from Merzifon to Vezirköprü direction crashed with another automobile with 55 PN513 plate number driven by Emre Atıcı, 20, which was driving from Vezirköprü to Ordu direction.

Driver Nadir Arı, who cramped in his car in the accident, was removed by the rescue teams of Samsun Metropolitan Municipality and taken to the Samsun State Hospital. Other injured whose name were identified as Emre Atıcı, Ferhat,37, Zeynep, 67, Pınar ,5, Zeynep Nur,12, and Munise Akdaş,19 were taken to the Havza State Hospital by the 112 Emergency Service.

Despite all medical interventions, which were made by the health officers of Havza State Hospital, heavily injured Zeynep Aktaş killed while Ferhat Aktaş killed in Samsun Training and Research hospital.
