2 Killed, 8 Injured As Two Car Collide Head-On In Southern Turkey

At least two people were killed while eight people were injured when two cars, coming from different directions collided head-on in Göksun district of southern Turkish Province of Kahramanmaraş.

The incident took place on the 95th kilometers of Karamanmaraş-Malatya Highway in the early morning of Saturday. One of the cars involved the accident with the 46 AS 835 plate number driven by Zübeyr Diri collided head-on with 06 YZP 51 plate number automobile driven by Kıyan Ceran. With the impact of the collision, two automobiles turned into wreckage.

Soon after the accident, Zübeyr Kara lost his life at the scene while Mahmut Diri killed in Göksun State Hospital where they were taken soon later the incident.

Other injured whose names were identified as Haydar Diri, Abdullah Diri, Hacı Ahmet Diri, Ezgi Ceran, Kıyan Ceran, Ayşe Ceran, Hacer Ceran, Hatice Ceran were taken to different hospital in the neighboring districts for further treatment.

Gendarmerie teams have been initiated an investigation concerning the accident.
