20 Kilograms Of Heroin Seized At Kapıkule Border Gate

During the routine inspections at Kapıkule border gate, which sits along the Turkish-Bulgarian border, Turkish police seized 20 kilograms and 776 grams of heroin at a car belonging to an Iraqi citizen.

Border gate security officers conducted narcotic dog to the operation after realizing suspicious intensity on several parts of the vehicle During X-Ray check the border gate. During detailed controls heroin valued at around TL 1,5 million was found hidden in several parts of the vehicle.

Reportedly the owner of the car, Iraqi citizen B.R.R. was imprisoned after being sent to the court. Police launched an investigation into the fact.
