20 Palestinian Rockets Fired At Israel On Thursday: Army

Israeli army said that 20 rockets were fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip on Thursday.



"So far today, 13 rockets fired from Gaza have hit Israel. An additional 7 rockets were intercepted by the Iron Dome," the army said on its Twitter account.



Israeli army earlier said that several rockets had been intercepted by Iron Dome defense system over central Israel.



Violence raged in the Palestinian territories since Israel launched a devastating military offensive in the Gaza Strip on July 7 with the stated aim of halting rocket fire.



At least 745 Palestinians have been killed and more than 4500 others injured in relentless Israeli attacks on the blockaded seaside enclave.



Gaza-based Palestinian factions, for their part, have continued to fire rockets at Israeli cities in response to the ongoing Israeli attacks.



At least 32 Israelis, including 30 soldiers, have been killed since the hostilities began.
