Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya announced that 23 international criminals wanted with Interpol red notices, blue notices, and diffusion messages have been captured in 6 provinces. Minister Yerlikaya stated, "Regardless of which notice they are wanted with, we will not give any respite to international organized crime groups that disturb the peace of our people, human smuggling organizers, and drug traffickers."

Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya shared on his social media account the operation organized under the coordination of the General Directorate of Security aimed at capturing international criminals. Accordingly, a total of 23 suspects were caught in operations conducted in 6 provinces, including 13 wanted by 11 countries with an Interpol red notice, 1 wanted with a blue notice, and 9 wanted with a diffusion message.



13 WERE WANTED WITH A RED NOTICE



Minister Yerlikaya stated; "In the operations we conducted in 6 provinces, we captured a total of 23 suspects wanted by 11 countries with INTERPOL's

  • Diffusion Message (9 people) (Urgent Capture Message for those for whom red notice procedures have been initiated)




In coordination with our Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, the Intelligence Department of the General Directorate of Security, the Organized Crime Department, and the Interpol Europol Department;

As a result of the efforts made by the Provincial Police Departments' Organized Crime, Narcotics, and Public Order Branches, as well as the Istanbul Immigration Smuggling and Border Gates Branch; in 6 provinces including Antalya, Aydın, Istanbul, Muğla, Izmir, and Bursa;



A total of 11 countries, including Germany, Russia, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Iraq, Algeria, the USA, Kazakhstan, Albania, and Tajikistan, had records of being wanted by Interpol with Red Notices, Diffusion messages, and Blue Notices; foreign nationals; C.M.O., A.L., K.Y., U.I., E.A., A.T., G.G.M., M.A., H.D., R.A., O.K.E., S.B., S.A.M.A., A.S., M.R.S., A.K., A.M., A.K., M.M.N., D.M., F.A.D., Ö.B., and D.P. were captured.

SEARCH RECORDS WERE IDENTIFIED



It was determined that the suspects captured in the operations had records of being wanted for crimes such as Membership in Criminal Organizations, Intentional Homicide, Sexual Assault, Fraud, and Drug Trafficking. The suspects, who were wanted by Interpol and identified as being in our country as a result of meticulous examinations conducted by our Security, were handed over to the Provincial Immigration Administration, and deportation procedures were immediately initiated.



I congratulate our Chief Public Prosecutor's Offices, our Intelligence and Organized Crime Departments coordinating the operations, our Interpol Europol Department, and our Hero Police Officers who carried out the operations. No matter which notice they are wanted with, we will not give any respite to international organized crime groups that disturb the peace of our people, human smuggling organizers, and drug traffickers.
