In Çankaya, Ankara, 26-year-old Karsu Aygün was killed by being suffocated with a pillow in her home. Aygün's 24-year-old roommate and a 15-year-old girl who was visiting the house were taken into custody and arrested.
A 26-year-old named Karsu Aygün, living in the Mimar Sinan neighborhood of Çankaya district in Ankara, accepted her 24-year-old roommate Tuğçe D.'s 15-year-old sister as a guest at their home during the night.
MURDERED BY STRANGULATION WITH A PILLOW
It was alleged that Aygün, Tuğçe D., and the guest child were using drugs, and a dispute arose between them for an undetermined reason. Karsu Aygün was murdered by strangulation with a pillow.
ROOMMATE AND GUEST CHILD TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
Upon receiving a tip-off, police and medical teams were dispatched to the address. The police took Tuğçe D. and the child involved in the crime into custody. Aygün's body was taken to the Forensic Medicine Institution for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.
FIRST THEY CONFESSED, THEN SAID "SHE DIED NATURALLY"
In their initial statements, the suspects confessed to the incident, but in later statements, they denied the accusations, claiming that Aygün died naturally and that they performed CPR to revive her. After their procedures at the police station, the two suspects were sent to the courthouse and arrested.
