Recently in Istanbul, a simultaneous operation was carried out against the criminal organization known as 'Casperlar,' led by İsmail Atız, codenamed 'Hamuş.' A total of 79 people were detained, and 70 of the suspects were arrested.
In Istanbul, 70 of the 79 suspects detained in operations against the criminal organization known as 'Casperlar', led by İsmail Atız, codenamed Hamuş, were arrested and sent to prison.
In the investigation conducted by the Bakırköy Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was determined that the 'Casperlar' criminal organization was involved in crimes such as 'intentional murder', 'drug trafficking', 'prostitution', and 'deprivation of liberty' in the districts of Bahçelievler, Bağcılar, and Küçükçekmece. On July 11, simultaneous operations were carried out at 231 addresses, resulting in the detention of 79 suspects.
WEAPONS AND DRUGS DETECTED AT ADDRESSES
During the searches conducted at the addresses of the detained suspects, 5 unlicensed handguns, 190 cartridges, 46 drug pills, and 940 grams of narcotic substances were seized. After their procedures at the police station, it was learned that 70 of the 79 suspects sent to the courthouse were arrested and sent to prison, while 9 were released under judicial control conditions.
