A 12-year-old girl named Öykü Nas Meşe, who lived in the Dalaman district of Muğla, passed away due to a heart condition. Öykü, who was born with a congenital heart disease and had undergone multiple surgeries, fought for her life in intensive care after her last operation but could not be saved. Little Öykü was bid farewell on her final journey with a funeral ceremony held in Dalaman.
Öykü Nas Meşe, a 12-year-old middle school student from Dalaman district of Muğla, passed away due to a heart condition.
HIS CONDITION WORSENED AFTER THE LAST SURGERY
Meşe, who had been diagnosed with a heart condition since birth and had undergone multiple surgeries, was taken to intensive care after his condition worsened following the last heart surgery performed at Ege University Medical Faculty. Meşe passed away as a result of a heart attack.
HE WAS FAREWELLED ON HIS LAST JOURNEY
The funeral ceremony held at Dalaman Central Mosque was attended by Meşe's family, relatives, teachers, friends, and loved ones. The child's body was laid to rest at Killik Cemetery.
CONDOLENCE MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL EDUCATION
The Muğla Provincial Directorate of National Education published a condolence message expressing their wishes to the grieving family. Emre Çay, the Muğla Provincial Director of National Education, who shared a message for 12-year-old Öykü Nas Meşe, stated, "I was saddened to learn of the passing of our student Öykü Nas Meşe from Atatürk Middle School in our Dalaman district. I wish God's mercy upon our student and offer my condolences to his family, relatives, and the education community."
