Sena Düzgün, a second-year student at the Faculty of Theology at Dicle University, was found dead hanging from a tree in the garden of the Oncology Hospital. After she did not return home at night, her family reported her missing. It was claimed that the young woman had previously attempted suicide and had sent a message to her course instructor before the incident saying, "Take my funeral."
Dicle University Faculty of Theology second-year student and social media content creator Sena Düzgün (20) was found dead hanging from a tree on campus. The incident has caused deep sorrow in the public, and there are suspicions that the young woman committed suicide.
FAMILY REPORTED HER MISSING
The incident occurred in the garden of the Oncology Hospital affiliated with Dicle University Medical Faculty. Sena Düzgün's family reported her missing in the morning after she did not return home at night. Following the family's report, search efforts were initiated, and Düzgün's lifeless body was found hanging from a tree.
TRANSFERRED TO THE FORENSIC MEDICINE INSTITUTION
Health and police teams who arrived at the scene determined that the young woman had lost her life. The area was cordoned off, and the body was transferred to the Diyarbakır Forensic Medicine Institution for an autopsy.

Sena Düzgün was previously reported to have attempted suicide. It was claimed that shortly before the incident, the young woman left a letter for her course instructor, indicating that she would commit suicide and sharing her location information. It was also reported that she sent a note saying "Take my body" and recorded the moment of her death.

It was reported that on her Instagram account, a day before the suicide, Düzgün wrote in the notes section, "26.05 2025, An unhealthy individual. A dead person's memory book." While an investigation has been launched regarding the incident, no official statement has yet been made by the administration of Dicle University and the Faculty of Theology.
