In Şanlıurfa, as a result of a head-on collision between a car and a motorcycle, 17-year-old Mehmet İkiyıldız and his 24-year-old brother Memduh İkiyıldız lost their lives in the hospital.
In Şanlıurfa, the motorcycle driver Mehmet İkiyıldız (17) and his brother Memduh İkiyıldız (24), who collided head-on with a car, died in the hospital. The accident occurred last night in the Günbalı neighborhood. The car with license plate 34 RG 9473, driven by Numan Ç., collided head-on with the motorcycle with license plate 63 AUZ 685, driven by Mehmet İkiyıldız. The motorcycle rolled into a ditch, and the driver Mehmet and his brother Memduh İkiyıldız were seriously injured. Upon notification, health and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the accident site.
CAR DRIVER TAKEN INTO CUSTODY
After the initial interventions, the injured were taken by ambulance to Şanlıurfa Training and Research Hospital. The two brothers, who were treated in the emergency room, lost their lives despite all the doctors' interventions. The bodies of the deceased brothers were taken to the Şanlıurfa Forensic Medicine Institution morgue for autopsy procedures. The car driver Numan Ç. was taken into custody, and an investigation into the accident is ongoing.
