A decision has been made regarding Söke Deputy Mayor Yağız Pullukçu and the village headman Yaşar Gülbudak, who fired shots into the air during a wedding in the Aydın province's Söke district. Pullukçu and Gülbudak, who were taken into custody, have been released under judicial control.

DETAINED

Following the scandal, the Söke Chief Public Prosecutor's Office took action. The prosecutor's office, which initiated an investigation into the incident, issued a detention order for the deputy mayor.

Teams from the District Gendarmerie Command detained Pullukçu yesterday evening. It was determined during the investigation that the gun used by Pullukçu belonged to the headman of Çalıköy neighborhood, Yaşar Gülbudak. Gülbudak was also detained. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.

JUDICIAL CONTROL DECISION

After the identification and detention of Deputy Mayor Yağız Pullukçu and the owner of the gun, headman Yaşar Gülbudak, they were referred to the courthouse following their procedures at the gendarmerie. Pullukçu and Gülbudak were released under judicial control by the court. Yaşar Gülbudak's gun was confiscated.
