A Dog Hardly Saved From Claws Of A Wild Bear In Russia

A dog, which joined a traditional “hunter dogs race” which is organized every year in Autonomous Yakutsk Republic of Russian Federation, was hardly saved from the claws of a wild beard.

Kustuk, a hunter dog, was saved at the eleventh hour while it was performing its talent in one of the stages of the race which is known as “Bear Trap” during which bear attacked haplessness dog with its strong claws. Soon after its first attacking, bears frequently continued attacking. Kustuk was hardly saved by hunters who hit the bear with woods severely.

The aim of the “Bear Trap Stage” is measuring the boldness of the dogs when they came across to a bear and managing putting off it. According to the rules of the race that a dog must stopped the bear when they came across with it.

Thanks to rapid reaction of the hunters Kustuk was nearly saved from possible death but did get serious injuries. At the end of the terrible attack, coordinators of the race were severely criticized due to the lack of the preventing measures, in which a reserve chain should have been kept ready.

Eran and Chara were the winner dogs of the race in which 109 dogs took part.
