A simultaneous operation was carried out at 34 locations in Istanbul, including "Amaya," "Bebek Hotel," and "Taksim Club IQ." During the operation, various amounts of drugs, unlicensed firearms, and ammunition were seized, and 17 suspects were detained.
On December 28, a simultaneous operation was carried out at 34 addresses by the teams of the Narcotic Crimes Investigation Branch under the coordination of the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office.
AN OPERATION WAS CARRIED OUT AT BEBEK HOTEL
During the searches conducted as part of the operation; approximately 1 gram of cocaine was seized at a workplace named 'Amaya', at a workplace named 'Bebek Hotel' approximately 2 grams of cocaine in 2 pieces, and a substance evaluated as liquid marijuana in 3 pieces, along with various drug paraphernalia and materials considered to be contaminated with drugs.
A LARGE NUMBER OF WEAPONS WERE FOUND
At a workplace named 'Taksim Club IQ', 1 unlicensed pistol along with 2 magazines and 19 cartridges belonging to this pistol were found, at a workplace named 'Kastel Elektro Müzik' 100 pistol cartridges and approximately 1 gram of skunk substance were found, and at a workplace named 'Suma Han', 4 pieces of cocaine weighing approximately 4 grams ready for sale were discovered.
17 SUSPECTS WERE DETAINED
As part of the operations, 17 suspects were detained. It was reported that judicial proceedings regarding the suspects are ongoing.
