The United States announced that it has carried out attacks on ISIS targets in Syria in conjunction with coalition forces. The U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM) announced in a statement from the American company X's social media account that it has conducted "large-scale attacks" on multiple ISIS targets across Syria in conjunction with coalition forces.

The statement noted, "These attacks are part of the Hawkeye Strike Operation, which was initiated on December 19, 2025, at the direction of President (Donald) Trump, and are a direct response to the deadly ISIS attack on U.S. and Syrian forces in the city of Palmyra, Syria, on December 13, 2025."
