Sezgin Tanrıkulu, the CHP Deputy from Diyarbakır, who visited Selahattin Demirtaş, the former co-chair of the HDP, currently held in Edirne F-Type Prison, shared Demirtaş's message. Demirtaş stated that he is closely following the process and is making efforts to achieve peace in Turkey and to ensure that it becomes permanent, and that he has contributed and will continue to contribute to this effort.
CHP Diyarbakır Member of Parliament Sezgin Tanrıkulu visited the former co-chair of the HDP, Selahattin Demirtaş, and the former mayor of Diyarbakır, Selçuk Mızraklı, who are detained in Edirne F Type Prison. After the visit, Demirtaş's message was shared with the public.
Tanrıkulu stated regarding his visit, "I am in Edirne. I visited my friends Selahattin Demirtaş and Selçuk Mızraklı. They sent their greetings and love to all citizens, friends, and fellow townspeople," he said.
DEMİRTAŞ: I WILL CONTINUE TO CONTRIBUTE TO PEACE
Tanrıkulu conveyed Demirtaş's message during the meeting with the following words:
"Selahattin Demirtaş stated that he is closely following the process we are in, that he is making efforts for peace to be established in Turkey and for it to become permanent, and that he has contributed and will continue to contribute."
Demirtaş also conveyed his wish to meet again in beautiful days, in a Turkey filled with peace and justice.
APPLICATION FOR RELEASE HAS BEEN MADE FOR DEMİRTAŞ AND FİGEN YÜKSEKDAĞ
