A female guard working in a prison in England has been found to have had a sexual relationship with an inmate in the prison's mosque. The investigation launched after the incident also revealed allegations of the provision of illegal substances and mobile phones.
The forbidden relationship between 23-year-old female guard Isabelle Dale, who works in a prison in England, and 33-year-old inmate Şehid Şerif has come to light in all its aspects during the ongoing trial. It was determined that the two engaged in sexual relations in the prison's mosque and used other inmates as lookouts.
THE INCIDENT STARTED IN THE MOSQUE The scandal broke out in July 2022. According to court records, Dale and Şerif made plans to meet in the prison's mosque. It was found that the two stationed two inmates as guards at the mosque's door to be able to engage in sexual relations.
Isabelle Dale FOOTAGE EMERGED Security camera footage revealed that two inmates were waiting at the door, and a few minutes later, Dale was seen adjusting her belt as she exited the room. Prosecutor Kieran Brand emphasized that the incident was "a deliberate concealment plan," stating, "It is clear that they entered the room for sexual purposes where there was no camera."
Şehid Şerif LOVE MESSAGES AND RAP SONG In court, recordings of phone conversations between the two were also played. According to the recording, Şerif read a rap song he wrote for Dale. The young guard responded to this recording, saying, "This is so beautiful, baby. I am proud of you. This is the best rap you’ve sent me."
PHOTOS FOUND AT HER HOME During a search of Dale's home, police found a framed photo of the two together and a ring believed to have been given by Şerif.
DRUG ALLEGATION The prosecution also alleged that Dale assisted in smuggling a synthetic drug called "spice" into the prison. As part of the investigation, it was claimed that Şerif obtained the substance through outside connections, while Dale brought prohibited substances and a mobile phone into the prison.
ONE ACCEPTED ALL CHARGES, THE OTHER DENIED Guard Dale denied three separate charges against her, while Şerif accepted all the charges brought against him. The court process is expected to continue in the coming days.
