A terrible accident occurred in Fethiye, Muğla. A Swiss national paragliding pilot crashed into a wooden railing while maneuvering after takeoff. The 60-year-old paraglider, who fell onto the road, lost his life.

Jaabiri Ezzeddine, a Swiss national who came to vacation in the Fethiye district of Muğla, made a paragliding flight from the 1800-meter runway of Babadağ in the Ölüdeniz neighborhood after his preparations.

After takeoff, while maneuvering with his parachute, 60-year-old Ezzeddine hit the wooden railing on the concrete wall in the area with his foot and fell onto the road.

HE LOST HIS LIFE

Upon notification, the Gendarmerie Search and Rescue (JAK) team and National Medical Rescue (UMKE) teams were dispatched to the area. During the inspection, it was determined that Ezzeddine had died at the accident site, and his body was taken to the morgue of Fethiye State Hospital.
