The support payments will be made for cereals, licensed storage, and rural development investments.
The Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, announced that agricultural support payments amounting to 2 billion 164 million 322 thousand liras will be transferred to the accounts of farmers.
Yumaklı shared information about the agricultural support payments on his social media account. Stating that they value production and support farmers, Yumaklı said, "We are transferring 2 billion 164 million 322 thousand liras in agricultural support payments to our farmers' accounts. May it be beneficial and fruitful."
SUPPORTS WILL COVER MANY PROVINCES
According to the information in the post, the mentioned support amounts are determined as 1 billion 997 million 350 thousand liras for cereals, 94 million 29 thousand liras for licensed warehousing, and 72 million 943 thousand liras for rural development investments. The cereal support will be paid for wheat, barley, rye, oats, and triticale products in the provinces of Aksaray, Eskişehir, Bursa, Muş, Ağrı, Denizli, Manisa, Mersin, Giresun, Kastamonu, Bingöl, Trabzon, and Isparta.
