ADB's Regional Forum Opens In Tbilisi

The regional forum of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) on public debt management issues, has opened in Tbilisi.



The conference was opened by Georgian Finance Minister Nodar Khaduri. Delegations from the ADB member states, international financial institutions and representatives of the organizations which have experience in public debt management sphere, are participating in the forum.



The forum's aim is to provide the exchange of views in the sphere of public debt management between the regional countries.



It is planned to hold around 13 sessions during the three-day forum. Each of these sessions will focus on certain issues.



The conference's agenda includes such issues as the strategy of management and analysis of the public debt, risk management, review of the global and regional economy and others.



Representatives of Georgia's Finance Ministry and the Central Bank will make a presentation about Georgia.
