Famous singer Aleyna Tilki, whose hair and blood samples were taken as part of a drug investigation, tested positive for the hair sample. Her lawyer Adem Uğur Kızıldere emphasized that the blood test was clean, arguing that the result was due to exposure to smoke abroad.
The results of the drug tests conducted on singer Aleyna Tilki, who was detained as part of a drug investigation carried out by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office and released after her statement, have been included in the prosecutor's file. According to the report, no substances were found in Tilki's blood sample, while a positive finding related to "marijuana" was detected in her hair sample.
During the investigation process, Aleyna Tilki's hair and blood samples were taken, and after the procedures, the singer was released. Following the inclusion of the ATK report in the file, the issue has come back to the agenda, and a statement has been made to the public by Tilki's lawyer.
"PASSIVE EXPOSURE IS AT ISSUE"
Aleyna Tilki's lawyer, Adem Uğur Kızıldere, stated in a written statement that the test results were misinterpreted and included the following remarks:
"It has become necessary to make a statement to properly inform the public regarding the news about my client Aleyna Tilki. First of all, it should be noted that no substances were found in my client's blood sample test. The issue indicated in the hair sample is not a chemical substance but a substance related to smoke."
Kızıldere recalled that his client had recently been in a country where marijuana use is legal, arguing that the result is due to passive exposure rather than active use, stating, "We believe that my client has been subjected to passive exposure in public areas through inhalation and absorption into the hair due to being in a country where this substance is freely consumed."
