Angola will host the next Southern Africa Develoment Community (SADC) Games in its central Bengela province in November 2016, the official news agency Angop reported on Wednesday. The protocol to host the games was signed in Luanda on Tuesday by Angolan Secretary of State for Sports Policy Albino da.

The protocol to host the games was signed in Luanda on Tuesday by Angolan Secretary of State for Sports Policy Albino da Concei?ao Jose and the chairman of the Executive Commission of the SCSA for the event Veii Vatumuavi.

The ceremony was also attended by Angola's National Director for Sports Policy Antonio Gomes, Chairman of the Angolan Paralympic Committe Leonel da Rocha Pinto, Chairman of the Angolan Athletics Federation Carlos Rosa and other sports officials of the African country.

SADC currently groups Angola, South Africa, Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Lesotho, Madagascar, Malawi, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, the Seychelles, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe. (Cihan/Xinhua)
