Armed Man Robs Food Wholesale Company In Czech Republic

An armed man robbed a food wholesale company and made away with at least one million crowns (about 44,000 U.S. dollars ) in the Czech city of Pardubice on Monday morning. Czech police spokeswoman Eva Maturova said police have controlled the region and were checking the drivers on roads. The robbery happened in Hradistsky street in Pardubice, the Czech Republic. The robber arrived by a car and threatened the company staff with weapons for money. The police are checking whether the vehicle which the robber drove was a stolen one. Maturova said that the man were about 35 years old, had a beard and wore a winter jacket. She said that there were no more details about the robber as the monitors in the company were black and white.
