The fair attracted a total of 20,840 visitors, including 1,500 collectors, according to a press release the publicist of the event issued on Monday. At the fair more than 400 artists were represented by a total of 76 galleries from 24 countries.

Catalan artist Jaume Plensa's 2014 sculpture “Sanna in Umea” was sold for 235,000 euros, making it the most expensive piece sold during the fair. The work was featured at the Galerie Lelong pavilion at the fair.

Paul Kasmin Gallery sold all of its pieces, including the works of German-born Turkish hyperrealist artist Taner Ceylan, who last presented a solo exhibition in İstanbul in 2005. The gallery earned nearly 118,000 euros in total.

Plensa's sculpture was followed by Jan Fabre's 1996 sculpture “Flemish Warrior-Warrior of Despair” from the Deweer and was sold for 160,000 euros. The third most expensive piece was Assa Kauppi's bronze sculpture “The Race is Over” from Galleri Andersson/Sandström, which sold for 95,000 euros.
