Seven businessmen of the foundation will visit the DPRK via a land route from Tuesday to Saturday, carrying 200 million won (186, 000 U.S. dollars) of agricultural materials, including vinyl and pipe, along with 15 tons of fertilizer. (S.Korea-DPRK-Aid)

KATHDMANDU -- A total of 3,218 people had been killed and about 6,500 others injured in the powerful earthquake that struck Nepal at midday Saturday, the authorities said Monday morning.
The 7.9-magnitude quake jolted central, western, mid-western and far-western parts of Nepal, which was followed by at least 15 strong aftershocks, with the last one of 6.7 magnitude occurred on Sunday afternoon.(Nepal-Earthquake-Death Toll)

KATMANDU -- A 58-strong Chinese government Medical Team arrived in Nepal Monday morning to carry out a humanitarian mission after the country was struck by a powerful earthquake at midday Saturday.

The medical team, from Sichuan province, is the first of its kind dispatched to Nepal by the Chinese government.
The medical team comprises experts from medical, pharmacy, osteology, nursing and psychology departments, among others.(Nepal- Earthquake-China's Medical Team)

KUALA LUMPUR -- Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said here on Monday that this year will be a milestone in the history of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) as the vision of creating an ASEAN community will be realized by the end of December.
