Assailants opened fire on the headquarters of the pro-Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) in Ankara early on Saturday morning, news reports said. There were no casualties in the attack.
Shots were fired from inside a car at the building in Ankara’s Çankaya district at about 4 a.m., Cihan news agency said. Police officers guarding the office shot back at the assailants, sparking a brief clash before the attackers escaped the scene.
