Astana's Prosecutor's Office Returns Agricultural Land Plots To State Ownership

Astana's Prosecutor's Office ensured returning about 6,000 hectares of agricultural land to the state ownership, the prosecutor's office said on July 29.



"Astana's prosecutor's office revealed unlawful possession of agricultural land plots with a total area of ​​5,940 hectares and cadastral value of 272.8 billion tenge ($ 1-183,5 tenge)," according to a statement.



The land plots were returned to the state ownership.



Astana's Prosecutor's Office ensured transferring 277.3 billion tenge to the state budget for the first six months of 2014. Some 276.5 billion tenge of this amount falls to the property seized for the state revenues, 661.2 million tenge - customs duties, 132.2 million tenge - taxes, 61.9 million tenge - budget spending.
