An explosion tore through a restaurant in China's eastern Anhui province Saturday, leaving at least 17 people dead.
State news agency Xinhua cited the government of Wuhu city as saying that the blast took place at 11: 57 a.m. (0357GMT).
The explosion and ensuing fire in Jinghu District were caused by a gas cylinder, according to the results of an initial investigation.
Rescue efforts are underway and a further investigation is ongoing. - Pekin
