At a henna night held in a wedding hall in Kocaeli, a giant disco ball fell from the ceiling. The disco ball, which fell from a height of about 4 meters, injured three people, including the bride.
A disco ball nightmare occurred around 10:00 PM at a wedding hall located on Ömer Türkçakal Boulevard in the Sanayi neighborhood of İzmit, Kocaeli.
THE GIANT DISCO BALL FALLEN FROM THE CEILING
During the henna night of lawyer B.M. and pharmacist B.S., the giant disco ball hanging from the ceiling broke loose. As the ball fell from approximately 4 meters, the bride B.S. and two guests whose names are not known were injured.
INJURED BRIDE TAKEN TO HOSPITAL
Upon the notification of those in the hall, health and police teams were dispatched to the scene. The injured were given first aid at the scene by health teams and were taken to Kocaeli State Hospital. It was reported that the injured individuals were not in life-threatening condition.
INVESTIGATION INITIATED
Meanwhile, the henna night was also recorded by a mobile phone camera. The footage showed the bride and groom celebrating with the guests, with the giant disco ball hovering just above them. The police have initiated an investigation regarding the incident.
