The Rumeli Fortress built opposite the Anadolu Fortress is a testament to admired intuition and intelligence. The construction of giant round cannons that moved over the sea is the resilience of an unwavering, unpostponed effort. To plant the Three Crescent on the 6.5 km long, 30-meter high walls that no power had overcome until that day is the skill of a faithfulness for which we are grateful.
