Baku Oil Refinery Unit Suspends Work

The work of a main unit at Baku Oil Refinery named after Heydar Aliyev has been suspended due to capital repairs, according to a message from the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan Republic (SOCAR).



The replacement of the entire system of the unit's vacuum column has started.



Technical staff from several structures has been involved in order to ensure a timely completion of the repair work.



The repairs in the vacuum sector of the primary processing unit are planned to be conducted for 30 days, while the repair works in the atmospheric compartment will last 21 days.



The capital repairs on the catalytic cracking unit of Baku Oil Refinery named after H. Aliyev are also continuing. The catalytic cracking unit produces high-octane gasoline.
