United Nations (UN) Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon met on Thursday (18 Sep) with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif at headquarters to discuss Iran's nuclear program, the human rights situation in the country and regional conflicts, particularly in Iraq and Syria.
Ban hoped that a comprehensive agreement on Iran's nuclear program can be reached and reiterated his belief in Iran's constructive role in the conflict in Iraq and Syria.
