Basketball: Turkey Rank 3Rd İn U19 World Championship

Turkey finished the 2015 FIBA Under-19 World Championship in third-place by beating Greece, 80-71, at the Heraklion Arena in the Greek island of Crete.



The Turkish national team dominated the game, especially in the third quarter, which ended with the Turks up 56-44.



Furkan Korkmaz of Turkey was the high scorer of the game tallying 28 points to go with eight rebounds and five steals.



The United States will go against Croatia in the final on Sunday in title defense, bidding to become the first team to win the U19 division back-to-back since 1983, when it was again the USA that accomplished the feat. - Ankara
