Turkey came runners-up in the under-18 European basketball championships on Sunday after being beaten by hosts Greece by 64-61.
The final saw Greece comeback from 12 points down to win the competition at the Nea Ionia sports hall in Volos.
The game's top scorer was Greek forward Vasilis Charalampopoulos with 23 points. He also took eight rebounds and produced four assists.
Greek center Georgios Papagiannis made a "double-double" by scoring 12 points and grabbing 15 rebounds.
Turkish shooting guard Furkan Korkmaz scored 15 points but his efforts were not enough to secure the title. Baris Ulker, Enes Taskiran and Omer Al all reached double digits in points.
Turkey had hoped to win the title for the third year in a row, having defeated Serbia last year and Croatia in 2013. - Ankara
