Team USA has reached the quarter finals of the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup with a 86-63 defeat of Mexico on Saturday.
USA point guard Stephen Curry was his side's top scorer of the night with 20 points, while also taking three rebounds. Rival team center Gustavo Ayon scored 25 points for Mexico.
The Americans had earned a 10-point advantage in the first period and the point gap increased throughout the match.
On Tuesday, the Dominican Republic will face Slovenia; Team USA team will play the winner.
