Bomb attacks left at least 22 people dead and 60 others wounded in the Iraqi capital of Baghdad on Monday, according to security sources.
In western Baghdad, a bomb placed in a market was detonated, killing three people and injuring nine others.
Another bomb attack targeted an Iraqi army military vehicle in the northern al-Taramiya district of the capital, leaving three soldiers dead and nine others injured.
In addition, on Monday, a suicide attack targeting a Shiite mosque in the Sinak region of central Baghdad killed 10 people and injured 25.
The suicide bomber detonated his explosives at the moment worshippers were leaving after their noon prayers, a security source told Anadolu Agency (AA).
In a separate incident, an explosion occured in a school located in southern city of Karbala, where female students were studying, killing three people and injuring nine others, on Monday.
Also on Monday: Two car bombs went off in the Baba Taviric and Maysam at-Tamar regions of Karbala, killing three people and wounding 10 others.
