At least eight people were killed, including four Iraqi army personnel, when a bomb exploded south of Samarra in Iraq's central Saladin Province.
"The bomb went off on a road in the Abbasia area of Samarra, some 10 kilometers south of the city center, when an army patrol passed by," a local police source told Anadolu Agency.
A local medical source, meanwhile, told Anadolu Agency that eight people had been killed – "including four elements of the Iraqi army" – while another seven had been severely injured by the blast. - Irak
