The exiled Reza Pahlavi, the eldest son of the deposed Iranian Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, addressed the protesters in Iran through a video message.
"YOU HAVE SERIOUSLY WEAKENED HAMANEY'S OPPRESSION"
Pahlavi stated that the demonstrators have filled the streets for three nights, saying, "With your strong and brave presence, you have seriously weakened Ali Khamenei's oppression and the Iranian regime." He mentioned that he has received credible reports indicating that the Iranian government is struggling to find soldiers loyal to the regime and to cope with the millions of people in the streets, stating, "So far, many members of the armed forces and security forces have abandoned their posts or disobeyed orders to suppress the people."
"KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT ALONE"
Pahlavi claimed that Khamenei has only a violent minority group of mercenaries who are enemies of Iran and Iranians left in his hands, stating, "They know they will pay the price for what they have done." Reiterating his previous call for unity and support for the protests, Pahlavi said, "Know that you are not alone. Your fellow citizens around the world are proudly raising their voices, and you will definitely see their images on television screens."
REMINDING TRUMP'S SUPPORT STATEMENT
Pahlavi emphasized that the world stands with Iran's national revolution and admires the courage of the Iranian people, stating, "In particular, the leader of the free world, U.S. President Donald Trump, has been carefully observing your indescribable courage and has declared that he is ready to help you. Do not leave the streets. My heart is with you. I know I will be with you soon."
