Seven people were killed and another ten injured on Tuesday when a car bomb went off in Iraq's eastern Diyala province, according to a local security source.
"The bomb exploded near a car market in eastern Baqubah, Diyala's provincial capital," the source told Anadolu Agency.
Although Iraqi security forces wrested Diyala from the Daesh militant group early this year, the restive province continues to witness violence, including sporadic bomb attacks and armed assaults. - Irak
