TURKEY DENIES SENDING TROOPS: Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated on Wednesday that Turkey has sent aid to the Tomb of Süleyman Şah in Syria, the burial place of the grandfather of Osman I, founder of the Ottoman Empire, but has not sent troops to confront the al-Qaeda-affiliated Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) in Syria.
