INAGURATION CEREMONY: Former Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan formally took over the presidency from Abdullah Gül in a ceremony at the Çankaya presidential palace.

RESTRICTIONS AGAINST SEVERAL MEDIA: Several media outlets were not allowed to cover President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan's inauguration ceremony that was held at the presidential palace on Thursday.
