SUICIDE ATTACK IN KABUL: At least seven people were killed and 19 others were injured at the end of two suicide attacks in Afghani capital Kabul on Wednesday morning.

IMF REPORT/INFRASTRUCTURE: In the current global environment of sub-par growth, there is a strong case for increasing public investment in countries where conditions are right, finds a new study by the IMF.
The study, which is published in the IMF's October 2014 World Economic Outlook report, examines the macroeconomic effects of public investment in a large number of countries.

TRAIN ACCIDENT/INDIA: At least 12 persons were killed and 45 injured when a speeding passenger train allegedly jumped signal and collided with another train which was taking a turn on a loop line near Gorhakpur last night.

PKK BURNS SCHOOLS: A secondary school in the Yenişehir district of Diyarbakır province was set on fire by a group which is believed to be affiliated with the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) on Tuesday night.
