Cracker Factory Blast Kills Eight, Injures More Than A Dozen

Nearly 8 were killed and more than 12 people were admitted in the trauma centre of the Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Hospital.

A blast took place in the factory due to which nearby houses were also damaged. Police reached the spot as soon they were informed. After the incident bomb squad also reached the spot to carry an investigation.

The work of making crackers was on a high as the festival of Diwali is round the corner.
Rehan, who was present at spot at the time of blast said, “We all ran for our life as soon as we heard the blast. We saw bricks falling. When the police arrived then we came back here. Nearly 8 people must have died in the incident and many injured.”
