Property is on the agenda of the meeting. The leaders are expected to speak at a joint press conference after the meeting. Meanwhile, Akıncı will receive Eide at 4 p.m.
Cyprus was split in 1974 following a Turkish intervention triggered by a Greek-inspired coup aiming to reunite the island with Greece. Peace talks resumed in May following moderate left-wing politician Akıncı's election as president of the KKTC in April.
