Dawn Prayer Performed In Front Of Hagia Sophia

As part of an activity, which was organized, Anatolian Youth Foundation AGD (As Turkish Anadolu Gençlik Derneği) thousands of people gathered in front of Hagia Sophia and performed dawn prayer. Prior of the prayer, crowd chanted slogan and shouted as “Break the Chain and Open the Hagia Sophia to Prayer”

On the occasion of 563th anniversary of Istanbul’s conquering, thousands of people gathered in front of Hagia Sophia Museum and performed dawn prayer to request opening the Hagia Sophia to worship.

Prayer was performed by Makkah Imam Murat Mustafa Al Hasan. During the prayer holy Quran recited by Şehsadebaşı Mosque’s Imam.

Following the prayer, crowd attended the prayer activity left from Hagia Sophia Square.
