The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) Arbitration Board upheld the penalties of 3, 6, 9, and 12 months of disqualification for 70 football players as part of the betting investigation.
The appeals of the football players who were found to have engaged in betting actions by the TFF Professional Football Discipline Board (PDFK) and received penalties of deprivation of rights were reviewed by the Arbitration Board.
PENALTIES OF 70 FOOTBALL PLAYERS CONFIRMED
In a statement made on the official website of the TFF regarding the matter, it was stated that the penalties of 70 football players were confirmed. It was noted that there was no inaccuracy in terms of evidence, legal qualification, and determination of the penalty in the decision to penalize under Article 57/2 of the Football Discipline Regulation due to betting actions, and it was unanimously decided to reject the application and uphold the decision.
The penalties received by the football players whose deprivation of rights penalties were confirmed are as follows:
