Eight out of 43 suspects, detained in the latest "parallel state" operation launched in the capital and several other provinces, were released on Friday.
The detentions include 40 police officers and three staff members from Turkey's Telecommunications Directorate, or TIB.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Ankara prosecutor's office ordered the detention of 54 suspects in 20 provinces, including Ankara, Konya, Bolu, Duzce, Hakkari and Diyarbakir provinces.
Authorities have launched such operations before against what the government calls the "parallel state," a movement allegedly led by U.S.-based preacher Fethullah Gulen and his supporters.
The "parallel state" is a purported group of Turkish bureaucrats and senior officials embedded in the country's institutions, including the judiciary and police, who are allegedly trying to undermine the Turkish government.
Police are still searching for the remaining 11 suspects at large, security officials told The Anadolu Agency in a written statement on Thursday.
