Eight Turkish Ships Wait To Reach Russia

After Turkey shot down a Russian plane on Tuesday, an ambiguity emerged in terms of economic activities. Eight Turkish ships loaded with semi-trailer trucks have been waiting on Samsun port. A great quantity of fruit and vegetables grown in the southern province of Antalya was used to be exported to Russia. As the export was halted, economy was affected in the city. Authorities said they chose to wait at the port since they do not know if Russia will accept them.
