'WE COULD HAVE EQUALIZED'
Belözoğlu, noting that the second half was better for them, said:
"We could have equalized there. It felt like the game deserved a draw a bit more in the second half, and we didn't give away any positions. But no matter what, you have Trabzonspor in front of you. It's a match between two teams with 6 points. We started the season well, and they did too. We will take lessons from this match for ourselves. The points gained, the target points are all processes we have to account for... The experiences we have gone through, good or bad, show this. Once again, I congratulate my players for their performance in the second half. I congratulate Trabzonspor for the overall match."
'I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY WOULD DO THIS ON PURPOSE'
Continuing his remarks, Belözoğlu said, "We have only had 15-20 training sessions with the players. We are trying to regroup with new players. 6 points is great. Nothing has been lost. We have to play bravely. My teams should be like this. We need new players. I will have some words for some of our former players from here. It's not small amounts, but rather large sums that our management is trying to open transfers by paying. I can't believe that our former players trying to leave are getting stuck on very small amounts and not allowing the licenses of the players coming here to be issued, especially doing this on purpose is not befitting of them at all. Regardless of what happens, everyone has contributed here. My team and I have contributed as well. Everyone who loves Antalyaspor has contributed. Every player who has played here in the past has earned their money and left. Today, the management is making a serious effort to pay these friends' salaries.
